Xbox Version: v1.3
Been trying to get Avalaunch to be reconigzed as my default dashboard after using Slayers. I transferred the avalaunch dashboard to the C drive and tried renaming the evoxdash.xbe with no success, it just boots to the M$ dash. Has anyone else done this yet and if so can you tell me what you did?

Make Sure to have the right BIOS version installed...

Did a search, I always do a search (thats why Ive been here since 03 and have less then 20 posts:P).

I know nothing of the M8 Bios. I take it that it doesnt work the same as the 4983 because thats what I have on another XBOX. I had to put the M8 on this one because it was a 1.6

Have you tried renaming the avalaunch.xbe to evoxdash.xbe?

That should work for you, as the M8 Bios will still load the file "evoxdash.xbe" and it will actually be the Avalaunch file..
