I have an version 1.1 xbox with an executor 2 chip in it. Everything has worked fine for about a year or so now. Recently I got Halo 2 and put it in and my Xbox came up with an error to contact tech support with an error code 16 up in the corner. At first I thought maybe I had a bad ground or my D0 point came loose. So I took it apart re-soldered it and made sure I had solid grounds, still no luck. I then searched this error on the net and found out it was a dashboard/clock problem and one solution was to put in the original hard drive, which I still have. I hooked up the old hard drive with the chip disabled, no luck. I then took the chip out all together with the old hard drive still in there, still no luck, same errors. Does anyone have any other suggestions, I do not have an external programmer so that solution is out for the time being. Please help me, I am dying to play halo 2.
