I want to follow this tutorial http://how2xbox.tk/ and it doesn't say I need to bridge those 2 points near the TSOP. Does anyone know if I have to bridge them or does this work without having to bridge those 2 points?
Thanks. |

If you're doing a softmod, you dont even have to open the xbox. Don't worry about the TSOP, that's if you want to use your onboard chip as a MOD chip.

This might be really dumb then. I thought a softmod was the same as a TSOP flash? What is the difference? If I softmod will it be like my other Xbox that has a modchip in it? IE. Can I install a larger hard drive, ftp, backup my games to the HD?
Thanks. |

2 different things.
"softmod" is self explanatory. TSOP is your onboard chip when you flash it, it acts like a mod chip, read more about it here: http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=231408
