I just saw an ad on TV about the DVD for Chronicles of Riddick and that there's a chance to win a BLUE LE Xbox if you purchase it. I didn't get all the details. Wondering if any one else may have seen the ad, or have more info. BTW, I live in Canada, so I'm not even sure if this was broadcasted on a Canadian or US station.

yeah, peopel are speculating that the crystal blue xbox is the new le that might be going in american stores (finnaly), that or its a kasumi xbox, but i doubt it.

did you not read my post? this is supposed to be the LE thats getting shipped to the us, and only getting shipped to the us (mabye canada to?). but anyways, this is the americans LE, and i saw the comercial last night.

K ... was curious so I took a lunch break and checked out a local Futureshop. Here's the scoop. On each DVD there's a sticker on it saying if you find Riddick inside, you can win an Xbox package. Doesn't give the details of what you actually win. But on the cardboard display, it shows a picture of a translucent blue xbox, with a dvd remote, a copy of the xbox game Riddick, a copy of Pitch Black DVD, and I believe a copy of Riddick: Dark Fury (animated) DVD.

On the sticker the fine print has the following info:
Find the game piece inside. 50 prizes, value of $330 CDN each. Chances are 1/5000. oh, and it's Canada only, sorry guys!

So those looking to purchase a copy of Riddick, you also have a chance of winning a blue LE! Good luck!!! beerchug.gif

BTW, anyone still wanting a Crystal LE, there were plenty on the sales floor!

well then they are running a parallel contest in the US cause i saw a similar comercial. and im in florida, so i doubt im just picking up some canadian channels tongue.gif

even if it is in the us only, ill ask my freind to pick me up one. i like the blue to much to not get one.

dude, you are confusing me. what commercial did you see? a riddick dvd promo to win a blue LE? or a commercial for the sale of the blue LE?

you're talking like you saw the riddick promo, where you can WIN a blue LE, but then you talk like you're gonna buy a blue LE. what is it???

guess i could sell the Crystal. if i knew the Blue was gonna come out for sure, i'd just return the Crystal, right now! it's still in the box, unopened. been debating if i should keep it or not, with all this speculation about the Blue being released, and the Crystals still flooding the stores.
