Does the 2.6 come with the parts in the X3 tutorial for a 1.6 install? The 5av cable? Also, I am getting conflicting reports on the DO spot, is it the same as the X3 tutorial for the 2.6.

I don't really need the extra features of the X3. Thanks and sorry if I missed this somewhere. I have been reading for days about this stuff.

Ive been looking around for similar information. Only thing I've found is that the D0 doesnt matter. both will work but people have said to use the one from the X3 guide. As for the parts no one responded to my post asking the difference in the X2.6 and X3 so I hope you have better luck.

I was doing the same thing as you’re doing. It’s the same install as the 3.0.
And there are two wires lift over. 1 for the LAN and the other's is the HD and it tics to sec to do it. So you should do it all. That it.

yes. The 2.6 and the X3 both come with the following parts for the install:

alternate 5v wire
wire harness for wire install
pin headers for pin header install
HD/Lan/ And D0 wire

And i believe some of the retailers are now selling the 2.6 with the new 1.6 pcb rebuild kit for the LPC rebuild at no extra cost
