ok, i have done several xboss like this. however, my buddy tried to solder the points on a 1.2+ xbox, and didnt do it correctly. now 2 of the points of top of the mb are impossible to solder and connect. the points are the one next to the R7D10 marking on the mb. can the back side of the mb be soldered somewhere to connect these points? the xbox works fine, just cant connect these points on top so i can flash it...

My suggestion is to follow the traces... it'll lead somewhere... then bridge the two closest points with a wire.

You can also try those silver/gold pens from radioshack....

KrayzieVanh is right, there is a passthough on one side of that pad and a resistor on the other, use those two points and all should be good.
