Topic pretty much says it all. Installed the xenium ice with led panel but still have this small plug with blue and black wires off it. Can't find what it does or is in any tutorial. Am I just simple? smile.gif

Thanks in advance

That should be the connector you use to connect to d0 and a ground.

Blue to the d0 and black to the ground.

There should be a spot on the chip where you connect it to.

Are you using a solderless adapter? If so, you have no need for the wire, as the ground and the d0 connector are handled by the solderless adapter.

And if you soldered it in and soldered a d0 wire to the chip then you don't need it either.

i used the solderless adapter and used the blue/black thingy. I just wrapped the blue around the d0 spring and attached the ground to a screw in the front of the xbox.
Why did i do this?
1 - My chip (+solderless adapter) doesnt budge. That thing is in there tight.
2 - I got one of those crappy solderless adpater that has a bad soldering job so thats the only way i can ground the d0.

I've used this technique on 2 other chips and now those chips dont move either. Great way to secure the chip.
