Ok, i have tryed to apply the UDE patch over my xbox. I guess by the serial number that it has been manufactured in china y the 29th week of 2004, so probably it will be an 1.6 ver. But when i apply the patch the next time i turn on the xbox it crashes. Is it there anyway to do softmodding wtih the UDE over the xbox?

use this tutorial to softmod it. I used it as my first mod attempt on my 1.6 xbox and it went flawlessly. the only suggestion I have for you is instaid of using UDE, use UDE2, or better yet, UXE. just place the UDE2 or UXE files in the ude folder. other then that, follow it word for word and you will be softmodded in no time.

Ok, but the only thing i have found about UXE it's the UXE autoinstaller, but i guess i shouldn't put those files directly in and UXE directory, is there a package UXE for xboxhdm?

uxe auto installer? where did you find that at? in the usual places? if so what dir?
also, there should be a package that has just the uxe exploit files in it (not an installer). I would use that and place those files in the ude folder. if the auto installer can be extracted, try extracting it and place the files from it into the ude folder. how do you extract an installer? easy. most installers (like drivers for example) do have an ability to be extracted by using a command switch. here are some examples to try(setup.exe is the name I will use. replace it with whatever the name of the exe is that you are useing)..... setup.exe -? setup.exe /? setup.exe -h setup.exe /h setup.exe -help setup.exe /help run these through a command prompt to make the process easer (click on start, goto run, type "cmd" (without the quotes), navigate to the place that you have the file at, "cd C:\xboxfiles\stuff" and then run the commands) |
