I have an unmoded xbox and was transfering songs onto my xbox from my computer. I turned it back on and i got error code #16. I read that this means that the dashboard has become damamged and need to replace my harddrive. How would i find an exact replacement becuase i have tried other xbox harddrives from my friends and they do not work. Or how could i fix this problem? Thanx

You can't FTP in to an unmodded box, and you can not simply swap a hard drive from one box to another. Each HDD is keyed to its specific motherboard, meaning the only hard drive that will work in your unmodded box is the retail drive which came with your box. You have 2 options:
1. Mod 2. Buy a whole new box. |
