I've got a Xenium chip with the lastest OS (2.0.1) and I'd like some help changing the DVD region settings on a v1.1 XBox.

When I change the DVD region using the Xenium OS (from Region 2 to No Region) it unlocks the HDD.

If I try to run the normal MS Dashboard with an unlocked HDD it refuses to work (as expected).

If I lock the HDD after changing the region the MS DVD player refuses to play non-region 2 DVDs.

So, is there any way to permanently change the DVD region of an XBox using the Xenium? I'm using the official MS DVD playback kit.

Change the region settings from your dash if you have Evox or UnleashX in the system settings menu smile.gif
