Help Please~~~, Can't flash X2.3b lite+ anymore...

Anyways, I was trying to flash it back to the X2 bios but it won't work anymore.......the Cromwell bios is loaded and the protection is off. When I pop the CDRW into the machine(with a dummy file & bios.bin) the light just kept flashing and it does nothing. Anyone got a fix for this problem? Thank you for your time. BTW.... when the mod chip is off...everything works fine....and the cromwell bios only displayed temperature, mac, serial and vid. The cromwell is stuck at displaying system info....the usual bold "flashing mode" is not showing at all.... I use the other bank and flash it from evo-x dashboard but now both bank are running evox bios now. I am still tyring to figure a way so I can have bank1 for evox and bank2 for cromwell.

Reboot.

Won't it flash both banks at once? because that's how I lost cromwell on bank 2 ..... is there a easy way to flash just one bank?

you can only, flash from LPC to LPC
Not from one to the other it won't work.

No luck.... with evox dashboard, both banks are flash together...unless there is some special setting in evox.ini

does your chip have a multibank switch on it already?

yeah, the mod chip come with 3 switches: On/Off mod, Flash Protect on/off, and bank 1,2 select.

I try with the new FlashX and finaly get only bank2 to run cromwell but for somereason evo-x dash boot with bank1 won't run anything but the dashboard itself

Can anybody here kindly explain to me how these memory banks work. I seriously want to understand them. For example, most of bios.bin I found are 256k but how come I had to double its size to fit onto the mod chip. In addition, some web sites says that I can bombine both banks together into one big 1024kb? I really want to understand that...
