Did any of you have the applications installed via FTP and then downloaded new versions through Avalaunch? That's happened on mine, but I have assumed it's because I already had versions of the apps. on my Xbox and Avalaunch saves the downloaded versions in a different directory by default.

Yes, that what I did.
It's not really a problem for me since I have DVDx to run auto when a DVD movie is place in the drive. I never go to the app folder and choose it myself.
But if I start to see other apps making duplicates of themselves then I'll start to worry.

Chances are you have your Apps directory on your F: Drive. When you download aps via Avalaunch it puts it in E:\Apps. You can just disable your E:\Apps directory in your xml file.
