I am looking for some help with my xbox connection to the internet. I have read the tutorials and will try to give as much information as needed. I am using 2 NIC's to connect. The first one goes to my DSL modem and the second one goes to the xbox through a crossover cable. I can FTP and ping to the xbox with no problems, but can not connect to the internet through anything (XBMC, browser..). My pc internet works fine. My xbox has a Xecuter 2.3 lite chip in it.

Here are the settings for Evox:

Try setting the default gateway on the xbox to the IP of your NIC.

EDIT: Also, make sure you have ICS turned on on your PC.

Based on your first post above, all you need to do is setup ICS (google how) then set staticip = no in your evox.ini and your xbox will get out to the internet. You can read the tutorial in my sig for more details.

Hey,
Thanks for all the suggestions. Luckily I have everything working now. I had ICS enabled before but still no luck. I could play through kai, ping, and ftp but still could not get XBMC or internet browser to work. The answer was to match the dns servers from my DSL to my dashboard. After that it all worked. I am using static ip still. Thanks for all the help. Hopefully this post will help other people who are having the same problem.
