listen newb, no offence but that is a retarded question, but im gonna be nice enough guy to answer it, youd better do some serious reasearch after this.
First of TSOP flashing is like suicide for a newbie, stay away from that at all costs, even though it will cost u nothing, it is highly likely it will destroy ur xbox, if u really wanna save like 60 bucks than go ahead, but i warned u.
TSOP Instructions:
http://dwl.xbox-scene.com/~xbox/xbox-scene..._By_SLuSHIE.rar
(TOLD U STAY AWAY)
The best thing for a newb would probably be an xecuter chip, this company is leading this industry for xbox.
their site is:
http://teamxecuter.com/
A Good ModChip Probably be here:
https://shop.system-mods.com/
If ya do not know how to solder, than u should get a solderless adapter.
One more thing you probably did not know, to play burned games and other things you must install a hacked bios, if ya do not know about that, than u have gotta learn!! muhaha.gif

as for TSOPs being newbal suicide, the first thing i ever soldered in my life were the WE points for my TSOP flash, ive since done over 50 flashes without any problems at all

if your careful and know what your doing (read guides) its very easy

honestly you have just as much of a chance of frying your motherboard trying to install a chip as you do messing up a TSOP flash

Heh, well spoken lordvader. But I'm sure that Mr. Niceguy TheLegace knows way more than all of us combined... rolleyes.gif

If you want an easy to use, hard to screw up chip (re: one with multiple bios banks so you have one to fall back on should you make a flashing mistake) without forking out the cash for a high-end chip, you just can't beat the Xecuter 2.6 Lite. Yeah, it's a little more that you're looking to pay, but it's a great chip (just make sure you ask a few questions about which bank to flash your BIOS to if you have a v1.6 xbox).

You're better off just finding out for yourself which chip you think you want. As I stated in your other post (and as lordvader nailed it), the Aladdin is a fine chip, but you only get one chance to flash it right, otherwise your stuck without the programmer.
