I am looking to get an Xecuter 3 for my xbox v1.6b However, I want to first know if there is any alternative to play burned games on dvd without modding my xbox v1.6b with a modchip? Also I am new to soldering and am thinking of purhsing the soldering kit at bmmods along with xecuter 3. How much is the iron at radioshack? Im a newb at soldering but I have an idea of how to do it. Help please, MSN: mschief02

Thanks for the link to the very helpful tutorial. I have a few questions:
1. Once you load a new dashboard/BIOS it's possible to upgrade the hard disk as usual, right? 2. On one screen of the tutorial at team02x, xboxhdm creates a game save file, but the tutorial never uses this. Is this just another option for loading the exploit? 3. Has anyone successfully done this with a 1.6b XBOX? 4. If all the IDE cables are disconnected from the PC's hard disks, where on earth is the script backing up the XBOX's files? |
