Just wanted to say thanks for the guides and add a personal experiance.
first I have a xecuter2 pro with an outside lpt port w/headerpin.
I followed the guides to a tee but at the point where I am trying to flash
with xbm 1.1 {Now click "Info" to check if everything is OK with your setup.You should get "Manufacturer code:01 Device Code: D5
I would not get that. So in turn I unplugd everything and ripped out the motherboard checked my connections and all were good even the DO point. but xbox would boot with the chip pulled off the header pin but when it was on I would get 3x green then red/green flashes.
So in desperation I turned the mod 180 degrees from all pictures
and received the code:01 Device Code: D5 and it worked.
I want to add that the header pin was installed as per pictures with the 1 pin missing at the same location as the pictures.

Is this a production problem or is it possible that I have something misswired?

I hope this may help someone but do this as only the very last resort.

correct me if im wrong but isn`t http://www.xbox-scene.com/modchips/x-ecute...e_diagrams.html for 2.0Pro only?

It say 2.2LITE and 2.0PRO.

Im also looking for a 2.1 or 2.2 diagram. can anyone help?

My X 2.1 Pro came today! Only thing that makes me nervous is that there is no mention of how to install it in the installation guides here.

I am wondering how to flash my xecuter 2.1 lite because no matter what i do it won't work. Where can i get bios to use for the flashing. It came with the cromwell, where are they and how do i get them. As you can tell i am new at this so help me out. Thanks. I need directions that are in laymens terms so i understand. Thanks!

ok i need some help, i just got my mod chip erm xecuter 2 lite plus and i have looked everywhere and i cannot find anywhere to help me install it!!! all the websites iv found says that it is a five minute job, but they dont tell u how to install it can somebody please help me?

Make sure you check the diagram page again, as they discuss how to solder the colored wires and have other helpful guides. Remember to be patient with soldering!

I have the Matrix Mod Chip and I need a little help installing it. I've already hooked it up to the computer and I've followed a few steps on the www.matrixmodchip.com site. I've put the WinLPC in the Matrix folder that it told me to put it in, but I need that BIOS software. This is as far as I have gotten to. What's the next step? And if it is finding the BIOS software, where should I start looking? On Kazaa?
