Liberty City Conversion By Elrayzeur, ALL the map Options

Here my conversion of liberty for xbox, it is not finished but you can already go from everywhere.

All the map is present it misses just the vegetation of LandNE.

Put the folders fix2 and 2 in the folder instal.
Put the files gta3.img/ gta3.dir of liberty PC in the folder models of the instal.

Launch ImgEd02 and open the file gta3.img, reorganize by type and to remove all txd close ImgEd02.

Launch imgtool open gta3.img, go in command/add and select all txd file in folder1 .
The same thing for folder 2.
To finish command/rebuild Archive

Go in folder FIX, launch BWInstaller and select the folder instal.Clicker on ok.

Go in folder fix2, "" "" "" "" "".""" """.

Transfer gtavc in your xbox and replace they files and folders by the new ones in this order.

Delete gtavc data folder and GTA_VC.CAP.Final in xbox and transfer they files by erasing the old files.

Folder data in folder instal.
Folder models in folder instal.
Folder data in folder fix2.
Folder text in folder fix2.
Folder txd in folder fix2.
Files default.xbe and pjx. (it run pal or ntsc game no problem)

Now you can launch the game, select unlimited energy and No cops thus the play will stop only if you explode. (from the times you will be given has the hospital)

If you fall into water with a vehicle you will be given on the road if you fall into water without vehicle press on the button back you will be given on the bridge of the beginning if you press second once a pcj600 and a hunter appear.

Il reste encore des textures qui sont blanches pas enormement mais il y en a.

J'ai retire les LODveg de toutes les maps car il reste en permanence il en reste 2 ou 3 ce n'est pas genant.


BUG

There remain still textures which are white.
I have withdraw LODveg of all the maps because it remains permanently.
For the remainder you will see while playing.

You cannot save.
There is no mission only the jumps single and the 100 packages.

If you arrive has to fix problems put the solution in this topic.(thx)

To afflict for my English who should not be very comprehensible.

If somebody understand how instal, that it remakes the explanations so that everyone can benefit from it.

yes of course that I am serious, I have prefer to use the .dff liberty and to convert some of textures in order to be more resembling the original MOD .


Advance of the project

I have to fix textures of the maps it does not have there more elements white.

I have also to change the vehicles I have try to recover most beautiful of GTAVC and of GTA3, the file collision of vehicles stays remake from the original of gtavc.

Add vegetation on landNE.


BUG

Trees one it white trunk, I would fix the problem this after midday.

The fire_hydrant refuses to be color;

No save game and some missions freeze the game

Except it has to have Vice City downloaded to the XBox harddrive, which mine is stock so I don't have the space

Bigger harddrive will definetly be my next mod after usb connections.

you can fit vice city on stock hard drive the game is small under 2gb from what i remember.

Hi here a BIG update of the MOD.

You summers any more does not oblige to use the cheats unlimited life and No COP.

Change of all the vehicles by those of gta3 and vc xbox, new file collision.

Fix for many textures it does not remain that some trunks white it is not awkward.

Fix handing, default.ide you can drive models RC.

New main.scm it adds of 2 new orders:

QUICK SAVE = press down of the cross.
CHANGE SKIN = press on the black button.

The play is now in full screen when you launch it have yourselves one limps gray in the middle of the screen to remove it it is enough to save game.

New file font (for the the texts of the play)

New HUD only the radar changes.

One of the maps freeze the game (comSW) I have replace it by a news (stunt) it is not finished.

I have remake the file path so that it is up to date with the news map.

New file generic texturs are more beautiful.

Here fine of the large update for the instal recover the files to gta3.dir and gta3.img put in the folders models (fix3) and run BWInstaller.exe .

Transfer all the 2 folders from fix3 in your liberty (data, models) and the new pjx and default.xbe, erase gta3_cap.final and your save game same if it is empty.

I installed this and got it working good.
I will wirte up an english read me when I have some spare time, but I work a lot.
anyway, this does work. and it will load LC. Good job on this.

One question I have;
I installed it on my copy of vice city which was heavly modded, so I think I have some bugs based on that. but I get a grey bar (see through) throught the middle of the screen. anyone know a fix, I have seen and fixed this before!
Its just been a while.
Anyway try it out everyone it works.

The grey bar is an order which does not exist on xbox for remove it save the game. (press down on cross)

awesome man thank you, Fixed my problem! and yes no magor changes, except does your radar or map work? My radar works but all the streets are screwy.

Anyway awesome job. I looked into this becuase I got myriad islands to work, but It was way to much to get done. this was a huge conversion. Thanks for the time you put in.
Anything I can help with let me know. I will convert the GTA Radio from GTA3 sometime by tue. If you have anything you want done let me know.

So when the next patch come out?

Found a working radar and map.
if you are this far chaeck out the forums at GTAforums.com. Look under edting and the n libirty city, in there is a topic called Unofficial Mods that has sa radar and map that works good.

Jed... help me out please. I have tried and tried this install, but I get 70% everytime. Was it the install 3 that solved all of the issues?
