I need to know how to hook up the xbox to a pc to rebuild the C drive.
I have all the files I need to rebuild it I just need to know how I would hook it up. I am going to use xboxhdm to do it. Can you also provide pictures on how to do this.

the tuts are a little confusing, but they do work. i'm not sure about the xboxhdm and rebuilding the c drive(i havn't done that). but basically you get the correct wires(crossover straight to computer, or regular cable for router) connect them, change settings

setup network yes
static ip yes
ip (i made mine 192.168.2.39) something similar at the end, doesn't have to be 39
subnetmask 255.255.255.0
default gateway blank
dns 0.0.0.0
dns 0.0.0.0

then you can type that ip in the computer program and you should be linked

sorry if i'm wrong, but it works for me

No not FTP. Hookin it up to the computer. Actually puttin the drive on the pc with IDE cables not crossover cabels and routers.
