Can I use Slayer's 2.6 files and my eeprom in xboxhdm to bulid my 120 hdd for my 1.6 xbox? And if I do that will it just give me the M$ dashboard, and then I can use XBE to upgrade dash?

ude is an exploit. it has nothing to do with upgrading the dash

I must be wording this wrong...

Can I use Slayer's 2.6 files and my eeprom in xboxhdm to bulid my 120 hdd for my 1.6 xbox?

And then use UDE to put unleashx on as my dash.

Mostly I'm worried about the first question, because if that works I think I can take it from there once I have a working hdd.

Why not setup UXE Complete up with your eeprom on a XboxHDM CD with Unleash as your default dash.

Just a thought.
