i know i posted this same topic in general, but i figured i'd try homebrew since you guys build your own apps....and this ones a pretty simple request.

i'm hoping someone could give me some code to build a little app, which would let me type in a list of my games and file sizes...and have it automatically group the game titles in 4.3 gig groups.
they can be random groups...just as long as they're as close to 4.3 gigs as possible.
the program doesn't have to group the actual files...just the txt.

any help would be cool...it would make life alot easier in burning multigame disks.

btw-i have visual studio 6...i just have no idea how to program. dry.gif

shoot-i could've probably posted this in development...oh well, i'll keep it here.

There is a W32 app [here] that should do what you are looking for. No need to re-invent the wheel, eh?

I think Excel will preform this function for you, type your data in there, and sort by the column with the file size in it? Or did I miss what you wanted to get out of this?
