 Slayer Installer 2.6, how to use it one a xbox version 1.6 |

I just bought a xbox version 1.6 and a xecuter 2.6 I want to use slayers installer 2.6 but I dont know if i should flash the chip using the cd or install with the cd and then flash or is it possible that I dont have to flash the chip and can just do a full install

did you install the chip? if you already had then you need ot burn a bios cd (tutorials on teamxecuter.com) then flash it with that, then use slayers

yup, cam is right. just burn your bios disc (use evox m8 since its the only bios that will work with a version 1.6 xbox at the moment) and flash your modchip. after its flashed you will be able to use slayers to install all your apps and if desired format a bigger harddrive for you.

Sorry about the post i have internet problems and i didnt know that is posted my bad.
sorry Iam still a little confused so i flash the chip first but isnt the bios already on the slayers cd I though there was an option to flash the chip with the cd Sorry again and Thank You |

the slayers disc does have the option to flash the bios BUT....
the x2.6 (as well as any other modchip) ships with a flashbios that can't do anything except read a bios disc (this means it won't boot your slayers disc so you can't flash with it). so just put your bios on a cd-rw/dvd-r and follow the instructions on teamxecuter.com to burn the disc and flash your chip. after that use the slayers disc to install your apps. |

Thanks I was just wondering what bios should i use to flash the chip with i know how to get them from xbins but which ones will work. Also my friend was wondering if the slayers 2.6 will work on a xbox version 1.6b
