i want to play with xlink kai but its not detecting my console, im using a blue patch cable, do i need to use a cross over to get it to work?

If you are connecting your xbox straight to your pc, you need a crossover cable. If you are connecting your xbox to a router connected to your pc, you need a patch cable.
