As far as I'm concerned the U.N inspections for wmd's were going better and better. But when the inspections actually worked, Bush decided to invade which was the most unlogical move you could make at that point. Saddam was cooperating. Since the inspections actually worked, U.N. asked for more time to search, but the Bush administration roundly rejected their wish and insisted to invade. Why? Bush feared they wouldn't find anything and then he couldn't attack them. No one can proof this, but since no one can disproof it either, it's quite impossible to make any other assumptions.

What the hell could my country do? And why should I have to defend my country btw? Lots of americans don't feel they have to defend every american action. If you think you have to defend USA in all it's actions you're a moron. And I don't know whether you refer to the innocents being killed by americans or before the war by Saddam.

Aren't you the one defending the american actions in the war? If you said USA made a really bad decision going to war with Iraq, do you really think we'd have this conversation now? No, but since you're defending the american actions my questions are VALID. There are intelligent americans(even conservatives) who think the war is stupid, and guess what, I agree with them. Are you compelled to defend america because you live there? Stop doing that and the world might make a little sense to you. Did you really think I would discuss with you if you were an american against the war?

I never ran and hide because I would need to defend my country. But I got pissed off since YOU think I must defend my own country. I'm not accountable for my country's actions as I don't defend dumb decisions my country make, but since you DO defend USA it's very valid to question you. But since my government is social democratic which resembles to my ideology I often do defend them, but defending for no other reason than it's your own country is for the birds.

Hmm. Well I don't know where you've been during the debates, but one of the REASON we were against the war was because we don't BELIEVE in your way of fighting terrorism. You can't end terrorism by using terrorism. Everyone knows that you're feeding terrorism right now, and in the end thousands of people have died and the situation is far worse. If anyone in my country knew a secret button to end all terrorism, it would've been pressed allready. With your sig and avatar it's obvious you think violence is the best option(or only option). But since we're not that guncrazy in this part of the world we see violence as a VERY last resort. Bush instead was EAGER to use violence instead of diplomacy.

They asked for a few months more. Let's say Bush gave them the time they wanted and didn't find anything(which we all know they wouldn't), he would have tremendeously hard to justify a war on Iraq, and that's the reason he chose to ignite it earlier.

I think this must be one of the most laughable texts I've read in months. If Saddam ever wanted to attack you, do you really think he'd make nuclear's DURING an inspectation?? And how fast do you think one make nuclear's? It's not some cheap toys built in a minute. Starting from scratch would probably take at least a year, and extreme amounts of money. And for heaven's sake, Iraq have never threatened USA. Colin Powell said in 2001 that Iraq didn't have wmd's. Can't you realize they made it all up?

If Bush wanted the americans to be secure he wouldn't scare you all the time, and above all he wouldn't attack a nation that had NOTHING to do with Bin Laden.
