Is it possible for me to boot from UnleashX without reflashing my bios?

Short answer, yes. It is very easy. Just put the unleash x files in your c: directory and make a skins folder. rename your old evox.xbe (whatever it might be named) to something like evoxold. and rename unleash x's default.xbe to evox.xbe (or whatever your old evolution x .xbe was named as). Now it will boot to unleash x, not evox.
