i have a v1.6b box and an X2.6 chip. I want to install avalauncg can anyone help, i have already flashed the bios

just FTP the files over like you would anything else.
do you have any dash installed at all just yet ??????? if not, then just make an Evox boot disc - this will give you FTP access and you can FTP the avalaunch files over to the necessary drive. |

FTP to your xbox, copy all the files from your D partition(I think) To your C partition

Unrar or unzip that folder (I think it's compressed into a .rar file though) to your computer and then use an FTP client to move the files within the Avalaunch folder that you have on your computer to your C:\ drive on your XBOX. Like others have said, if you have no dashboard at all, your best bet is to burn an EvoX installer disc available at the same place you acquired the Avalaunch file from. That will enable you FTP access and the ability to move the Avalaunch dashboard to your C:\ drive and it's always good to have EvoX on your box as a backup dash anyway. I don't really know how else to go about explaining it.

ok i have an 80gig hdd in my xbox with an X2.6 modchip can some one almost walk me through installing avalaunch cause when my noob eyes read it they get confussed?

Read the tutorials section on burning Slayer's to install EvoX and all the apps that you'll ever need. You're going to have to read it anyway if someone "walks" you through it on MSN Messenger so you might as well just go to the tutorials section here at X-S and read how to do it.
