About a year ago, fluke created a webpage for tinkering with the doa3 booster disc given out with the Official Xbox Magazine in their June issue...

He and a friend of his managed to actually rip the textures of Lei-Fang's leather dress costume. This amazed me when i found their site, and i decided to try my own exparaments. As of January 1st, their site closed because it hadn't been updated in a few months...

Now that there are several ways of obtaining the disc (included in the Xbox Ehibition Disc, ect.), and advancements in accessing the HD of the Xbox allow for a much easier method of accessing and exparamenting with the files, i believe this idea will have a much greater following.

I have decided to create my own site on this subject. It will be concentrate on not only modifying DOA3, but any game that uses the xbox HD to update game levels, characters, weapons, ect...

If anyone is interested, it's at:
http://doa3booster.bravepages.com/index.html

It's still under heavy construction, but you can get the feel for what i'm trying to do here. I hope i get enough support to continue this stuff, but if no one cares, i'll end up closing the site sad.gif ...

Please, if interested in the idea, or if you want to help, e-mail me at cypher35@hotmail.com

I believe this Dead or Alive 3 Booster Disc has all the textures and models decompressed, am I right?

Do you know if there is a way to edit the models and textures when they are already compressed into the "loadfile.afs" file? I currently own a Japanese copy of the game and these new textures and models are already included in the file that is loaded into the system's Hard Disc Drive.

About the website, i have neglected to pay the fee for not having popups, simply because i didn't know if the site would work or not...

now that i know there is some interest in this topic, i'll pay for no banners and higher bandwidth.

Thanx

I will be adding more bandwidth to my account so this dosn't happen again...

As of probably March 5th you won't see this happen again.

I have also just updated the site with a few random exparaments that i've conducted

In response to Gackt's post regarding the jap/pal versions of doa3 that already include the extra costumes, i believe it is possible, however inconveniant, to extract the character files from the loadfile.afs file...

I would appreciate it if someone would tell me if they've gotten this idea to work. If i had my own pal or jap version of the game, i'd try it myself.
