On my E:, I have a folder named 'backup_linux'. Obviously it's my backup information and some files, but what is the zipped folder 'C.tar'.
My guess would be my C: backed up and zipped up. But just incase I'm wrong can someone verify.

A few other questions then.

1. What exactly is in that zipped folder?
2. Deletable?
3. When backing up my HDD, what files/folders should I backup?(Just the C:? Just the E:? Both? All? Some?)
Thanks in advance.

1) A backup of all the original files on the C: partition (dash, fonts......)
2) Yes, but dont', its a backup and is very handy to keep on the system (its only 100mb)
3) Both, C=System files E=Gamesaves

Read the rules and don't be in such a hurry....24 hours between bumps.

That zipped folder is all the contents of your C drive before it was modded. Your music is on the E drive and both C and E drives should be backed up to your PC in case you ever need them. If you have done that then go ahead and delete the other C.tar. I'm assuming that this isn't a file used for the softmods that shadow the C drive or whatever. If your chipped or TSOPed your fine, if your softmodded...search that forum to see what its used for...it might be used to get rid of the softmod as well.
