Hello everybody, I post a message previously saying that i soft modded my xbox what i meant was that i flash the tsop i didnt know u call them differntly i did this a couple years ago and i was wondering now that i want to play xblive i want to change to a mod with a switch so i was wondering if i can do this and flash my bios to a retail one and install a modchip so everytime i want to play live i just disable the mod. I have a retail hard disk my xbox version is the 1.1 and am runnin the xcuter2 bios thanks in advance for helping me

If you flash back to a retail bios and get a modchip you can play on xbox live. Just be sure that your HD is locked before you flash.

with a v1.1 there are tuts and pictures of a switch being added so that you can split the bios in two or four sections with this you can flash half with the originol MS bios and a exucuter bios on the other half. then use the switch to select which bank to boot from... thats what i did to mine and it saved me 35 bux.
