This should be a pretty simple question. I currently have Avalaunch on my C: drive and no longer have a use for it, so I would like to use XBMC as my dash, however its installed to my F: drive.

Is there a way to make it still be my dash without moving the whole program to my C: drive? Like is there a way that I could point my startup program to load a default.xbe from a different location? I am just worried about space on my C: drive.

Thanks,
Mike

I used the 3rd setup, involving editing the bios and reflashing it. Works great tho.

If you use avalaunch you shouldent need to edit bios or anything.
Just copy your XBMC xml and default.xbe to root on your xbox C drive.
Edit the xml correctly and rename your default.xbe mediacenter
to avalaunch.xbe.
Boot your box and you should have XBMC as dash.

Think this has been asnwered earlier here ?

Good Luck
