Well, somebody has been porting the irricht engine to the xbox. It runs .x and .map levels (on PC at least). Meaning, anyone who has ever used gtkradient or created maps for the quake engine could probably make a map.

So, for those talented in coding games, this can be a great option for rendering it. It can be a someone decent engine to use as a start for a 1st person shooter, 3rd person adventure game, rpg, or whatever.

You can learn more about the PC projects on that site as well. I think that this will be a great foundation to build your games on, for many.

wow this looks like halfife 2 style graphics great job man ill definetly support this and if you need a beta tester look no further im good i dont have an xdk though but a normal modded xbox is what i have

woah, i didn't do that. I said somebeody, so all credit goes to him. I just posted this as it will hopefully lead to more 3d games of many varieties including fps and rpg. The gfx are more like Quake 3 arena if you don't player in a small window.
