Well I just got my premodded SAmsugn SD-616 drive and hooked it up. works great except doesn't like my verbatim dvd+r backups. thought this is what the samsung drive is supposed to do was allow it to read these better....

burnt games ran sometimes on origional phillips drive, but i broke it sad.gif

Anyways any input on this subject??

Samsungs won't read dvd+r if you read around some of the pinned topics this fact is listed, i think its in general hardware forum. However you can do something with your burner to make it work, I haven't read much about it as i just use dvd-r.

Using Nero Burning Rom, and a sony dvd+_r burner, how would i go about burning a samsung DVDROM booktype???

by default if u open the program by clkiking nero burning rome then x ouyt the popup and choose burn image and pik image it will just burn book type my stock samsung reads all dvd+r

Well i'm using Nero 6 ultra edition and doens't have anything about book type in that menu...
