My Brother Is A Musician, We Copied His Cd To My Xbox Before We Got A Computer A Few Years Ago. Someone Stole His Original Copies At A Party We Had About 6 Months Ago. We Have Found A Few Songs From People But We Are Missing Some. Is Their Any Way I Can Pull The Songs Off My Xbox And Put Them On My Pc. Just An Old Xbox That We Have Hooked Up With A Hub. Need Help Please. Non Modded.

basically you need ftp access. the only way to acheive this without modding would be by using a gamesave exploit using a gamesave that has ftp then manually pulling the songs off the E drive. however the songs will be named with random numbers and letters, i.e 00000dffa, but the songs will be there and you can rename them on your pc accordingly by listening to them. oh btw they will be in wma and i think 128kbps bitrate.

you need one of the three exploitable games, these are from when they were first released, not classic or any recent versions.

splinter cell
mechassualt 1
007: agent under fire.

if you have one of these then you must get a gamesave off the pc onto your xbox. this must be done using the action replay software. you need either an MS memory card (non-MS will not work) with an action replay thingy or possibly just a USB stick will do.

once its on your xbox your boot into your hacked gamesave with ftp and connect to it from your pc using an ftp client (i recommend smartftp or flashfxp) and pull the songs off the hard drive.

If you have a modded xBox, just FTP. It'll save you a lot of hassle.

if you read the end of his post then you will see that his xbox is unmodded.

which is why the only obvious solution would be a gamesave exploit.

I found the Music directory on my XBox on the E: drive.

Its close to the path below but not exactly.

E:/UDATA/55500fff/MUSIC

the path is not correct but this is close. I am not near my xbox so I cant look it up, but the folder you will find your music folder in is tword the bottom of the list. Somebody will find it before I get home to check my box I'm sure wink.gif.

Edit:
I have 1.3 Gig of music off an XBox on my laptop computer (just checked it). I promised a reletive I would get all his save game data onto his new moded Box I made for him.
The WMA files play just fine in Media player.(just checked that too)

You were really close 4WDrift, but I think it is E:/UDATA/eee00fff/MUSIC or something like that. After you go into there, every album will have its own folder. Mine are 0001, 0002, 0003, etc. They go in order from when you put it on your xbox. Ex: 0001 was the first CD you ever put on your xbox. If you download XCommanderR2G ? you can view the folders and files as you had titled them when you ripped them to your xbox.

You were close as well. The correct location is E\TDATA\fffe0000\music

Total Ass told you how to do it.

Read up on the game save exploits.

It isn't that hard to do. The only hard
part is getting the game save from
your PC to your mem card.

You could also try to hotswap and read
the Xbox hard drive with Xplorer360.

I would go with the game save exploit.
