I'm changing my mod chip. I'm getting a X2.3b lite chip and flashing it with a bios. I have 2 questions:

1)Is x2 4981 still the most stable bios or are there better ones out there?

2) As my Xbox was already modded with the old chip, I already have an Evox dash on the HD. Will this cause any complications. I imagine that this is what's going to happen:

I solder the chip in.
Turn on Xbox, follow instructions and update bios w/ bios disk and turn off Xbox.
Turn on Xbox and Evox automatically boots (w/ the chip enabled) w/o needing to reinstall it or anything.

Are my predictions correct?

1. yes, its the most stable xecuter bios

2. as long as you edit the bios (via xbTool) to point to your dashboard

4983.06 is pretty stable for the 1.0-1.5 box. but you can't make any changes to the x-logo or anything

all you'll have to do is flash the chip. assuming you made no changes in the previous chip's bios such as dash location, you should be fine
