I want to update my ms dash to the version that allows me to view the dash itself in 480p. Whenever you connect to xboxlive for the first time it tells you that in order to continue you need to upfate the system. If i update the system to the new dash will it delete my evox dash? Id my C: drive safe from this update?

edit: I meant Evox in the title.

How so? Im not really interested in XBL, i just would like to view the dah in 480p. The only way it seems ill be able to do it is through this system. I just wanna know if it render my evox dash useless.

Also, kind of off topic but is it possible to partition a g drive after all other drives have been installed from an auto installer? I used one that didn't do a g drive.

No, it won't touch Evox (or any other dash). But if you're gonna update that way, update first, THEN patch your MS Dash, and don't ever go back on Live.

I'd just use a dashupdate.xbe from a game (which game would depend on the version of dash you wanted, or use Slayers 2.6 to update to 5960, or 2.5 for 4920, etc.).
