okay..my xbox is done. v1.0 xbox with Thomson drive. x2.1 lite modchip. 4 windows on X, and clear superman S jewel. blue led ring under jewel, blue leds under windows. blue leds in controller ports. 80gb Western Digital HDD in Xbox. painted black and silver. my xbox sits on a case that i made from an empty Xbox case. i cut the bottom of that case down and turned it around so that the back is now the front. i glued plastic over the av/power/ethernet cord holes. there is a switch to power on one or the other hdd. in the case, i have a 200gb Maxtor HDD. when im using the 80gb thats in my xbox, a blue led by the switch is on. when i switch power to use the 200gb Maxtor, a green led is now on, along with 2 green leds that are inside the grill, where the fan would normally be. and i have a pic of the xbox X symbol thats lit up, as you can see from the pics. the indicator leds arent too bright because they are in the case. they are up against 2 led cones which are outside the case. i dont wanna be blinded. tongue.gif
i made the case by sanding down the inside bottom so its flat, glueing plastic over the holes that i mentioned, and then for the sides, i took the top of that empty case, and cut off the sides and back corners, glued them on, and painted it to match my xbox. you know that lip on the bottom front of an xbox? that rests on the top front of my case, and the back of the xbox sits in these notches that were there. sorry..didnt have a cam during the making of this case. rest assured..its very solid and strong. i plan to add a hdd cooler any day now. i will get night shots asap.

That is very nice sir! Although I think that if you blended in the top XBox with back of the one on the bottom a bit better it would look better...still looks good though beerchug.gif

That is one AWESOME xbox. Great job man! I was confused on the whole 'dashboard' concept at 50 posts rolleyes.gif .

If you get some freetime and have $$, try working a lcd into the design and bondo up the odd areas.
