Hello all.

I'm having a problem with a recently modded xbox using an Xecuter 2.6ce. Its got samsung and xcalibur chips, manufactured on 1-15-2005. I'm assuming it's a 1.6 from the chips. I have done a lpc pin header install including the lpc rebuild for the bottom of the board. I have also connected the proper d0, HDD, LAN, and ALt. 5v wires.

With the mod chip on, When i boot up to flash for the first time I don't get the flashBIOS screen. On bank one My led responds with one yellow flash, followed by 5 green flashes and then it stays on and green. The video screen shows a black screen.

I can boot up the box with the chip off and it boots like normal.

Any help would be great. This is the first 1.6 box i do. Thanks.

you sure it's not a 1.6b? what happened when you try booting from bank 2? most newer 2.6 chips have different flashbios versions on both banks, that way if your version xbox isn't compatible with one you can use the other.

Thanks for the help uber. I found out the problem. I wasn't using my standard A/V cable for the xbox. I was using my RCA Xbox to XBox connection. It specially made for the TV. I swtiched the cables and flash bios 3.0.0 was there.

I just Http flashed my M8_16_plus bios in there , in bank 2 and things are up and running.

I'm off to set in the new HDD and dash now. Thanks for the help smile.gif
