I am installing a hard drive for a friend
.67 BIOS were flashed *before* formatting/installing the drive to make sure it installed correctly. (X2 4981).
To avoid confusion, yes they are still on there.
The G:\ Drive is showing over 155 GB when it's freshly formatted and there is nothing on it
But transfering backups to it is only allowing about 3 Games to get on the drive before saying that the drive is full.
This is a Maxtor Ultra16 7200RPM Ultra ATA/133
Does anyone know what this frustrating crap may be, and any possible way to fix it? Any insight into this, especially something that might help fix/ get around the problem would be amazingly helpful, thanks.

Ah yeah, and for some reason with dvd2xbox a screen that says something like "checking partition tables" comes up, and in dvd2xbox, the G:\ partition works fine. Anyone have an idea on this one?

I think its "checking available partitions" or similar. dvd2xbox doesn't do a partition table check. It just tries to access the different partitions and activate/deactivates it in the settings.
