Anyone else picking this game up this week? For $20 it seems a nice deal, and an innovative game to boot. At that price, I'm going ahead and support the developer bringing it to the USA. Normally I'd rent it, but like I say I like to see these titles crossing the pond for our enjoyment.

So, anyone else getting it (or have it?)

I really didn't care for it at all...and crossing the pond? If your reffering to the ocean as a pond, then I believe you need to go check your definitions.

But hey, I just am not one of those anime type people, so you might love it. Good idea, just not my type of game.

It's an interesting game. Developed by MS Japan and released over there, it went through a complete English conversion before it was decided to can the USA release. Majesco swooped in and bought the rights cheap, so it is shelving here tomorrow at a price of $19.99.

The game seems to be part Otogi in wow graphics and action, part Magic the Gathering (cardgame) for gameplay, and part Akira (the movie) for feel. You basically play an uber human that slects his powers and does battle with other uber humans in the wreckage of society.

PS - Package arrived from gamestop today, so I'll let you know how it is later this week.

When I first started playing this game I was thinking boooring. but for some reason I couldnt stop playing. Then when I got to the second chapter and got my a$$ kicked a couple of times online then it became clear one I need to play this game more before I go online and two this game is amazing. Its very unique and a very different way of playing. storymode is alot of fun but playing online is extremely addictive. I have alot of games alot but this one is my favorite. halo 2 is way up there and so are a few others but since I got this game its the only thing I have been playing. If you dont buy it for $20 your crazy and make sure to play it a while first before you make a judgement. I forsee this becoming a big hit. and for you xlink and XBL people build your arsenal first before you get in the ring or your feelings will get hurt. plus its more fun. look for my xlink tag Dogari or on PD scarecrow I will be the one erasing your skills boi!

This game is totally amazing, btw chapter one is meant as a tuorial chapter for sure.. I've read tons on this game before it came out (It was released in Japan over a year ago but never could get a publisher to bring it stateside). For 20 bucks i think you get your money's worth and more.

It's got unique gameplay elements to it. Kinda like have a card based game crossed with a action game. It's really hard to explain. The graphics are top notch and every skill (Magic) you use has flashy effects; btw there are over 300 different skills you can learn (More if you play on xbox live).

This is definately a sleeper hit.

I got a import since I have a NTSC-J system and I love this game a would agree this is for sure a sleeper hit in the making. The detail is good and the graphics are a nice touch to a deep dark storyline
