I am trying to fix a broken XBox 1.4 by putting in a XBit 1.5 I had sitting around. Without the chip, the box just says solid green with no video or audio. I just want to see if the TSOP is dead so I figured it could not hurt. I can't find any install docs on the XBit site.
(I put a XBit 1.0 in a 1.0XBox without issue, but this is my first time with a 1.5 XBit.)

So, everything else done, all I can get the pogo pin install to do is frag the box.
Can anyone point me to the docs that show how to do a soder install of this ship on a 1.4 XBox?

Thanks

The 1.4 is practically the same as the 1.3, although the dms pics dont show a 1.4 install. I would install the xbit using its pinheader, although you will need to clip off the extra pin, then solder the d0 to the alternate d0 underneath which is much easier to solder to.
