Help guyz,
I have a v1.6 xbox with Aladin modchip installed. I installed EvoX dashboard today and system seemed to be running fine for a while. After that, I went into XBMC and chose IRC Client, when the system froze. On restarting, I could hear the audio(flubber) but no video. The light is solid green. It doesn't load any games either.
Also when I took to the repair shop, the guy said that the EEPROM has hung up and there is no way it can be fixed.
I am desperate for help guyz.. Surely someone will be able to help me...

Hmm.... I didn't know XBMC had an IRC Client.

Does your Xbox happen to display a few yellow lines at the top of the screen? I had this problem a while ago. What worked for me was putting my C drive back to completely retail state. I did this using XboxHDM. If you don't have a backup of your eeprom, then you won't be able to manually unlock your HDD and will have to hotswap. Otherwise, I don't know what the problem could be.
