I installed the aladdin on my xbox, and when I try to load things it always freezes. It is constantly locking up or not loading things. It seems to be loaded with the EvoX bios, as it has a crest on the top left (red) when booting. What could cause this?

When you say it seems to be flashed with evox , that tells me you have not flashed it yourself and these chips are normally shipped with evox m8 plus V1.6 bios so you can boo them up in any model.

But you really need to reflash with something that is compatible with the box you are modding.

I reccomend you flash the chip using Sunday Flash V1 flashing tool or my Spiderchip Reflash cd (link at bottom of my sig) and with the

X2 4981.06 (256k) bios.

Yeah, it is flashed with that. So the problem is the bios you figure? Nothing seems to load proper, and games freeze when loading off the harddrive too. Flashing will fix it?

Flashing it with a different bios should cure the problem. As long as you are sure all the files and stuff copied over 100 percent.
