Hey, i recently installed a new harddrive in my xbox, this is a 60 gig hdd that were in my computer. This means i just lost 60gis and now im in a really big need of those 6 gigs from the xbox HDD (my other 80gig hdd is full).

So here´s my question, how do i format the retail xbox hdd so i can use it in my pc?
Whenever i put it in my computer, windows recognizes it but it never shows up as a drive. I cant find it anywhere, so i cant just right click and press format blink.gif

any help would be greatly appreciated!

(i know, alot of you would say "just buy a frickin new harddrive", but $$$$ is VERY low these days)

Read this guide: http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/pc-hdd.php

Unlock it the new way (using config magic or something) then follow the last bit of that guide to format the drive in winXP.
