i dont get what ur asking. i want this button because im not going to use the assembly any more. i messed up one side so the led wont cut on and i dont want just one light on and i dont want to buy a new assembly right now becase i have no $$$ after this xice so i want to just put in in the case until i get a new assembly if i do.

but another question is could i connect the broken side led to the working side by wiring it and how would i do that because now the working side isnt coming on.. would i need a resisitor?

No, unfortunately this won't work because the memory card uses the same yellow wire as the controller does, and you can't have two different signals travelling down the yellow wire. if you were to set it up with both a power and eject button, both would do both, meaning that when you pressed the power button it would try to turn on/off and open the dvd tray at the same time, and the same would happen if you pressed the eject button on the controller.

you could, however, have the power button on one controller and the eject on another.

EDIT: For fixing your LED problem check out this pic: user posted image

Just solder the corresponding wires on the back of the power eject pcb... I've done it a bunch of times, (including once today) and it works like a charm!

thats ok. i may try this but i just put my xice back together and its a bitch putting the seembly in but i will give it a try before i spend 17 on a new assembly. also do u know a place cheaper than llama. they have it for like 17 shipped so not bad. bt thanks for the great response!

i was looking at the chart and do u leave teh wire in the plug and just switch them on the board?

How about you work a disk changer into your xbox and then have a switch-disk button?

I doubt you could do it tho...

jsut solder the wire from the led to the pin where it comes from the mobo, easy fix. no need to freak out and pay 20 for a new PCB.
