hey, I'm trying to upgrade my xobx harddrive to a 160 gig.

I have a modchip, so it says get a molex splitter and unplug the cd drive and put both HD's in as master and slave. I don't have a 4 pin molex power splitter

So can i just move my PC close to my xbox, let one hard drive run off the xbox power supply, and the other off the PC powersupply? I don't see why it wouldn't work but.... just wondering
