thats because the jaguar emulator for the pc doesn't even run that good

think about the minimun requirements to run most of the jaguar emulators and then think about the hardware in the xbox

plus the best jaguar emulator isn't even open sourced so even if we wanted to port a decent one, we couldn't

That information about the Saturn being ahead of its time, is untrue...There is a Saturn emulator for the Dreamcast..

You could make a Saturn emulator for an Atari 2600 but that doesn't mean it will work very well.

If you're talking about Yabause-dc I quote the readme;

The Dreamcast version gets as far as showing the BIOS language select. No Farther!

Yabause ( http://yabause.sourceforge.net/index.php ) for Win/Linux is coming along and might be useful in a few years and with faster computers. But even here compatibility ( http://.sourceforge.net/compatibility.php ) is dreadful and I doubt they have yet to consider speed.

So far I've heard there's emulators for all the old ones, but is there any for the current ones? I've heard PS and Dreamcast, I haven't heard any mention of n64. Also will there ever be any for ps2, gc? My gc broke down and just lazy to get a ps2.

Did you read the "Beginners Guide"? It contains a sections dealing with which emulators are available, and which aren't. Check my sig for link(s).

I have a simple question for those of you with more experience...

What is the best for Neo Geo? I'm using MAMEoX right now, and it seems really good, but I'm wondering about the other arcade emus. I'n hearing a lot from people about FBAxxx being really good and sorta directed at that.

Also, is there an arcade emu that can allow you to change the dip switches?

Did you not read the first post in this thread? In big red letters it says this:
QUOTE
AS OF RIGHT NOW THERE ARE NO XBOX EMULATORS FOR PS2, GAMECUBE, DREAMCAST, 3DO, JAGUAR, SATURN, ATARI 7800, VIRTUAL BOY AND OTHERS THAT ARE NOT LISTED HERE

Also, the Xbox simply lacks the processing power to ever emulate the Gamecube properly even if there was a good Gamecube emulator to port.
