I've been looking around for awhile and trying to find somewhere that has someone who has a xbox in their car/home and have a touchscreen hooked up to it. If the xbox can run Windows 98SE wouldn't it be able to handle Touch screen drivers? That way, instead of going all out and buying a mini-pc for car to do GPS/Movies/Music..ect the xbox could easily replace that need? Just trying to find some info.

i don't know about the touch screen thing but i have to ask the question, why would you want to run windows 98 on it as it doesn't run that well? can you even play dvds and divx films on it if it only runs at best like a 233Mhz pentium? they'd be a bit choppy wouldn't they? music would be fine.

This gets asked about once a week or so, sometimes with greater detail, so if you want more details, look around.
But the bottom line is that it can't be done for any top uses of the xbox, like gaming. You'd have to run linux, and you'll have to write the software for it. |
