I am doing my first mod with the xecuter 2.6 and a xenium solderless adapter and i am having problems getting the mod chip to light up and register. Any help would be greatly appreciated

What version is your xbox? or what chip does it have of the following: connexant, focus, or xcalibur?

it uses connexant and i think its around a 1.3

well, then there should be no prroblems then..its just not aligned right. take off the chip and adapter, and MAKE SURE the pogo's are lined up with the LPC. and push down with your finger, and screw till its snug.. too much, and you strip the hole.

please i think i aligend it perfectly but it still wont light up
is there anything that has to be connected to the chip? please i really need some help
