Tsop With Pinheader Already Installed ... Options

ok, i have a 1.1 box with a x3 already installed
now i decided to buy an extra console when forza motorsport will be released
i want to minimize the modding cost. so ive thought of this.

i will use my x3 into the new console which will probably be a 1.6b
afterwards i want tsop flash my 1.1

so some questions now:

1: is it possible to tsop flash my 1.1 and leave the pinheader in the lpc so i can still use my x3 sometimes?

2: once a tsop is flashed, is it possible to reflash it?

3: once a tsop is badflashed, is it possible to reflash it?

4: not really a tsop question. the x3 has 2 1mb banks. so is it possible to use the 1st 1mb bank with a 1.1 compatible x3 bios and the 2nd 1mb bank with a 1.6 compatible x3 bios

1. Yes...
2. Yes, assuming the jumpers are still enabled.
3. Bad flash depends on what you mean. If you flash a 256kb to your 1MB, then you can boot off the first bank using the 3 wire trick. If you got a bad flash in general or used bad bios (OS, BFM, etc), then you'll need a 29 wire to fix it.
4. Yeah, that should work no problem.

i would solder the enable points then softmod the 1.1 while you have ftp access, then pull chip. then get xecuter2 bios make it 1 mb and flash with evox.

then just install the chip in your new one

ive done over 20 tsop flashes never had a bad flash just gotta make sure you using a good bios and right size.

worst thing that can happen is youll have to buy a modchip
