What u need.
Mod Chip
2 X Pads
1 X Memory unit
2 x Gamertags
First of all BACK UP your saved game using the xbox saves manager.
Use flashFXP to connect to your box, in e:udata there will be many numbered folders all game saves. Find the one relative to PSO.
in the save file you will have the following files,
gameid.ini
PSO_CHARACTER_00
PSO_CHARACTER_01
PSO_CHARACTER_02
PSO_CHARACTER_03
PSO_GUILDCARD_00
PSO_GUILDCARD_01
PSO_GUILDCARD_02
PSO_GUILDCARD_03
PSO_SYSTEM
SaveMeta.xbx
Each PSO_CHARACTER_XX = gamertag in relative order. So if the FIRST gamertag has the item u want to dupe, copy PSO_CHARACTER_00 to your PC HDD, rename it to PSO_CHARACTER_01 and send the file back to the xbox. This will "clone" your character data between diferent gamertags.
So now you should have all the items ready on your HDD, time to reboot and load the game
when you start a game you will be asked to choose a gamertag upon which your character data is saved. Select the character that has the items that you wish to dupe on, also create a temp character WITH AN ORIGINAL NAME. Load it up and give all items you want to be duped to the new original character. Quit the game and transfer the the new original character to the memory unit.
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT U USE A BRAND NEW CHARACTER AND A MEMORY UNIT AS THIS CHANGES THE META TAGS FOR ALL ITEMS, SO THEY ARE NOW UNIQUE AS IF YOU HAD OF RECIEVED THEM ONLINE OR JUST FOUND EM!
Load up the gamertag with the items still in his bank or on person and go split creen.
Load up your new original character , the one off the memory card which you gave all the items to, and give them all to the character which already has the items!
There ya go, a perfectly safe way of duping!
i know its long and tedious but hey, can you dupe anyother way!
plus i am stoned at the minute thats why the info may seem strangly wrote!
