I, like many have been having a hard time with their chip moving out of place. I have to open up my XBOX just about once a day and touch my chip to get it to stop fragging. I read on a previous post that using a spring would be a cheap and easy way to hold down the chip.

My question is where the heck do I get a compression spring? I looked at Home Depot but they only had extension springs. I did a google search but the only sites I found was sites where you have to put in all of the parameters for making a custom spring or places where they show you the parameters but no pictures. I tried Ebay but they try to sell you like 100 springs at once. I did find one good auction that had lots of different sizes for me to try but I lost that one.

Perhaps someone could let me know either the place they bought theirs or the parameters of the spring so I could buy one online.

Thanks in advance-

Now I went to Wal Mart. They didn't sell crap in the way of springs.
